The public sector executive recruitment firm Baker Tilly has posted the job opening for the next Woodbury City Administrator, with a salary exceeding $220,000.

Joey Wu

Joey Wu received the 2025 Thouron Award. The award is a graduate exchange program between The University of Pennsylvania and United Kingdom universities that aims to improve understanding and relations between the two nations.

He told Woodbury News Net, “My time at Woodbury (High School) fostered the roots of social impact, scientific curiosity, and hope that continuously push me to become a better person

Stacy Bartlett

Stillwater Area High School science teacher Stacy Bartlett is a semifinalist for the 2025 Minnesota Teacher of the Year Award.

New Life Church is planning to buy 30 acres of land west of its current property for the biggest expansion to the church and academy since its start nearly fifty years ago. Their current plot is 40 acres. The purchase price is $6.5 million.

Woodbury’s Farmers Market at Red Rock Elementary School

The Woodbury Planning Commission approved a conditional use permit for the Woodbury Farmers Market to return to Red Rock Elementary School. Construction at Central Park caused the market to relocate to the school last year.

“It’s a really good farmers market, and the community has shown us a lot of support even with the move last year,” said Lindsay Stauner of the St. Paul Growers Association, which operates the market. CLICK HERE to learn more about farmer’s market and their schedule.

Mya Hooten

University of Minnesota student Mya Hooten, a Woodbury native, was named a nominee for the AAI Award. The AAI Award is considered the Heisman Trophy of women's gymnastics. CLICK HERE to learn more about the award and Mya.

Website MoneyInc.com ranked US suburbs based on what they called a “comprehensive data analysis of crime statistics, school quality, housing affordability, economic health and resident satisfaction.” Woodbury was one of three Minnesota Suburbs to make the Top 50 list. Slick City Park

Ella Fruchterman and “Hannah Montana W”

The Forward of the Month was University of St. Thomas Senior Lucas Wahlin.

Bird Hike at Big Marine Park Reserve, Saturday, Mar. 8, 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., 17495 Manning Trail North Marine on St. Croix, Minn. These hikes are a great way to get outdoors, listen to the sounds of nature, and learn to identify the birds that call the St. Croix Valley home. Participants have the opportunity to contribute to citizen science data collection by completing bird count surveys.
