Things are starting to buzz again as summer winds down in Woodbury. Central Park is set to reopen Oct. 1 with a fresh new Lookout Ridge playground and more space for community events. Meanwhile, Amanda Hemmingsen-Jaeger secured the DFL nomination for state Senate, nine candidates are in the running for the SoWashCo school board, and Woodbury Days is almost here, bringing three days of food, music and fireworks to Ojibway Park. Just eight days to go, but who’s counting?
