McHenry County Crash

The Sheriff’s Office initial report says they believe weather may have been a factor in the crash. There were near white-out conditions at the time of the crash. CLICK HERE to learn more about the crash.

Slick City

The Woodbury City Council approved permits for Slick City, an indoor slide and trampoline park, and the farmers’ market planned for Sundays this summer and fall. CLICK HERE to learn more about the opening date for the park and what will be offered at the market.

Lake Elmo Park Reserve Swim Pond Play Area Artist Rendering

Spirit Song Choir Members On Stage at Carnegie Hall Concert (March 16, 2025)

Thirty-two members of Spirit Song Choir performed at Carnegie Hall in New York City on Sunday, March 16. The singers participated in “A Vision of Light,” a concert presented by Distinguished Concerts International New York.

Artist’s Rendering of Settlers Ridge Development

Construction has begun on a new affordable housing development called “Settler’s Ridge”. It will include 126 residential units. CLICK HERE for expected opening date and the amenities that it will feature.

Sen. Nicole Mitchell (DFL)

Pete Winslow

Pete Winslow from Woodbury was named to the US National Power Soccer team.  Power soccer is a competitive team sport developed specifically for power wheelchair users. CLICK HERE to learn more about the sport and competitions they have this year.

Logan Hensler

Minnesota in World War II with Col. Don Patton, Thursday, Mar. 20, at the Stillwater Event Center, 1910 S. Greeley Street – next door to the Washington County Heritage Center. World War II Roundtable President Col. Don Patton will be the featured speaker for the Washington County Historical Society Annual Meeting. He will highlight the Minnesotans who played major roles during WWII and contributions from companies on the home front. Social hour at 5:30 p.m. with dinner at 6:30 p.m. and the annual meeting at 7:30 p.m. The event is open to the public and the cost is $25 for WCHS members and $30 for nonmembers. Reservations are required in advance.

METRO Gold Line Bus Rapid Transit Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting, Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Woodlane Park & Ride, 1100 Woodlane Drive, Woodbury. Join representatives from the State of Minnesota, the federal delegation, and Ramsey and Washington counties on Saturday, March 22, for a ribbon-cutting ceremony and community celebration:

Tenth Annual Short Film Festival & Food Drive, Sunday, Mar. 23, at 5 p.m. at Woodbury 10 Theatre, 1470 Queens Drive. Admission to see local short films is two canned goods per person. Click the link for a list of films.
