Fish Fry Locations Across The East Metro

For many folks in Minnesota and Wisconsin, the Friday’s during Lent (this year, Lent is from Feb. 18 to April 2) are the perfect time for a Fish Fry. Those plates of batter-fried fish, cole slaw and fries can be found in and near Woodbury in church basements, restaurants and fast food places.

This list may have missed a few tartar sauce-laden options, but it offers a lot of choices.

Women’s Self-Defense Seminar

Friday, Feb. 27, 5:30-7:30 p.m. | Kahn Martial Arts, 1850 Weir Drive

Build confidence, strengthen awareness and learn practical standing and ground self-defense skills. Participants must be over age 12. Free.

Creatures of the Night

Begin in the visitor center to learn about nocturnal animals, then head out with a flashlight to search for creatures of the night.
