A Guide to Thrift Stores in Woodbury and Nearby Communities
By: Beth-Ann Bloom
Does the combination of increased prices and that end of the year credit card bill suggest that it’s time to change your shopping habits? Would you like to live more sustainably and rescue things from the landfill? Are your kids growing so fast that they need new clothes–again?
Well there may be one answer to all these questions: thrift stores. Secondhand shopping allows you to spend less money, recycle treasures and find things your family needs. They also can add the adventure of a treasure hunt to a routine quest for a replacement crockpot or a “New to you” outfit.
Woodbury has a number of thrifting opportunities. They are listed below along with other East Metro options that can provide variety for your thrifting quests.
