Roundabout: Out & About

Tuesday, April 28, 2026

Good morning.

After seeing that Moe’s Southwest Grill will soon open its Woodbury location, we felt best that if you knew all the other stops you can cash in your one-way ticket to Burritoville. So for our top story this week, we present our ultimate burrito tour guide. Yes, there’s more than just Chipotle out there.

And if you’re looking to get out (while keeping the Mexicana theme going), Noche de Dar highlights the week with a festive night of food and music on Saturday.

Enjoy!

Stuffed With Options: Woodbury’s Burrito Spot Guide

By: Beth-Ann Bloom

Burrito options are multiplying in Woodbury and environs as fast as mattress stores.

Mexican food historians can’t agree on how the dish came to be named “little donkey,” but we can be sure that the possibility that it is stuffed with donkey meat is unlikely in Woodbury. Burritos likely started out as modest tacos filled with local agricultural products. But as folks became familiar with them, new variations appeared and were promptly stuffed with people’s favorite options.

Sounds like our favorite fast-growing suburb!

With the 49th annual Woodbury Lions Club Garage Sale coming up on May 5-7, you may be surprised to learn that the original sale was organized in response to community concerns that weekly garage sales with their fliers and signs were cluttering up Woodbury.
